There have been so many attention on women hence the men seems to be struggling to keep it up so as not to referred to as "are you not a man?". A popular Abuja blogger and men coach, Jenny Chisom has seen the need to close this gab by giving the men an opportunity to talk to themselves, rub minds for a better society and profer solutions where necessary by organizing " Men Summit". She talks to Carisgold Media why she decided to go the men way after the first episode of the summit yesterday in Abuja.
"My Men Summit or I should say my passion for Men empowerment was inspired by the stereotypes in society that have left the world especially Nigeria in a sorry state. Sorry state because men do not know their status, because of dysfunctional parental upbringing from a dysfunctional society. It has left the male with minimal home grooming, liberty-to-make-mistakes, and a certain macho expectation and responsibility that does not match realities, leaving most of these male victims at the mercy of drugs, violent behaviours, sexual pervertion and more. This trend and its resultant effect on women and children who naturally look up to them is devastating. I also have been a Men success coach and just decided to extend the border using my blog's influence".
The first episode of the summit which held yesterday Sunday 11th December, 2016 was a success. In the cause of the summit, a session of healing, psychological reorientation and a talk-solution therapy were initiated and most of the participants testified that the summit was life changing and therapeutic because of the mode of real life experience sharing format.
The event holds a lot of promises as more men will literally get their footing and succeed in life through this platform.
The event is structured to hold every quarter, thus 4 episodes are upcoming yearly starting from 2017. Brands and organisations have already indicated interest to partner with JennyChisom.com to sustain this auspicious event.
Congrats to Jenny Chisom for carving a name for herself and making effort to impact the men world.
